Emma
Birdsall

Sydney

Since her breakout moment in the first season of The Voice Australia, chameleon performer Emma Birdsall has established a diverse and elegant profile in the Australian entertainment scene over the last 10 years. Performances with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, a spot at Woolworth’s Carols In The Domain, Manly Jazz Festival, and editorial features in Vogue, Madison, Instyle, and other major publications have all been ticked boxes for this accomplished singer, model and actor.

Emma has trained in the Meisner technique at the acting studio 'The Pulse', recorded voiceovers for radio, online, and charity, and independently released a record of jazz standards, which was followed by sold-out shows in Sydney. Emma is an accomplished songwriter, having co-penned songs for Jessica Mauboy’s ’The Secret Daughter’ TV series along with other notable co-writes for Australian artists. Published by UMPG, Birdsall's songwriting has led her to London, Sweden, and LA, where she has enjoyed several international releases as a writer.

Two defining moments for this chameleon performer have been Emma's dazzling appearances in all 4 seasons of Channel 9's ‘Love Child’, performing mesmerising versions of classic tunes from the 60s and 70s, and “that” infamous one-off million dollar Woolworth’s ad (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday I Love You…).

As a model, Emma is a timeless face - confident, calm, and totally at ease in front of the lens. Her look is classic, warm, and versatile.

A natural speaker and communicator, Emma shares via her social platforms with humour, lightness, and honesty that is hard to come by. She is a passionate advocate for causes she believes in and has taken seasonal ambassadorial roles with OzHarvest, Stand Tall, Compassion, and Dress for Success. She has a heart to share her story and speak life and encouragement over young people, particularly around the areas of body image, mental health, resilience, and finding one’s voice amongst the curveball’s life throws at us.
